Geneva is Pretty in Pink

And you could be too! The Geneva BID is selling planted hanging baskets, filled with pink blooms, just like the ones you see around town. Each hanging basket is a quality reusable basket filled with pink Bubblegum Supertunias, guaranteed to thrive with dedicated watering. You may preorder your hanging basket by calling the BID office, or stopping by during regular business hours. Baskets are made to order and will be available to pick up on May 2nd between 3-6PM at One Franklin Square. What a great way to kick off the initial First Friday of the season!

ABOUT THE GENEVA BID

The Geneva Business Improvement District improves and enhances the vibrancy of the City of Geneva’s downtown area by serving as stewards of local resources to assist businesses and property owners through supporting the maintenance, operations, events, and infrastructure of the district. We strive to create a vibrant storefront-filled epicenter of networking, marketing, promotion, events, and beautification. The GBID stands committed to make Geneva stand out and be the true destination of the Finger Lakes Region.

 Geneva is a beautiful and historic city in which to live, work, play, and invest as evidenced by the 175 plus businesses that call downtown home. We strive to create opportunities and provide services that help our downtown merchants thrive.

The focus of the Geneva BID centers on the growth and maintenance of our downtown district. The BID’s key programs include:

  • Economic planning and development

  • Business recruitment and retention

  • Promotion and unification

  • Planning and coordinating events

  • Promoting and marketing businesses
